As the second semester gets started, I thought I’d revisit this to cross off the things I did first semester and make additions for the harsh winter months & spring.

I'm Nicolyn. I've got an honors English degree from a fancy school in rural Ohio. Next up, I get to study for my M.A. in a Southern Ohio town called Oxford. At any given moment, I'd rather be in Cebu City, Philippines. I have a major thing for cupcakes, thrift stores, and red lipstick; I enjoy R.A.S.K.-ing, long walks down Middle Path, nautical themes, expensive kitchen knives, Southeast Asian diaspora literature, Spanish fútbol, neat whiskey, sassy wines, and the Boston Red Sox. I'm in love with the world and I hate it all at once.
